Hunter Trapper & Bowyer: Alik Jarson originally came for Boyr where he was a game keeper for Cattar Baline. He hunts with a short bow, and will often be gone for days at a time, checking his traps and hunting game. he is generally dresses in leather armour and is armed with a short word and dagger while he is out and about. He will nearly always have one short bow for sale and will make longbows on request, but this will take time. he is not capable of making bows that need exceptional strength to draw. He will generally have 20-30 arrows for a short bow for sale, and will make longbow arrows on request. If he is not home his wife, Amelia, will sell his stock in hand. There are also a few treated skins for sale, and the occasional set of stags horns, as well.
Carpenter: Henning Barndt is a farmer and carpenter. He can frame building and do general carpentry repairs, as well as make rough furniture. There will often be basic 'country style' items of furniture for sale, such as: Stools, small cabinets, a basic table or even a chair. other items he will make on commision.
Weaver: Brynna Bregan is a weaver. She makes a fine soft woolen material from the sheep her husband (Peter) and others graze in the area. She also weaves a much finer material from the wool of the goats herded locally as well. Generally she will dye the wool in plain greens, browns and a dull yellow. Other colours are more expensive, as are patterned tartans.
Fisherman: Garth Conwy, one of the few Celts to live in Giantsferry, owns a coracle and generally paddles up the fjord setting traps for eels. He also trails a hook and line behind him and often returns with the odd mackerel or two, as well. More of a jack-of -all trades than a true fisherman, he is uses the javelin well and occasionally fetches back a small marine mammals for food and skin. He is also carries a knife and has been known to draw it in times of danger. He is always open to offers and will take a single person with him up the fjord, in his corracle, if requested and suitably recompensed.
Ferry: Asher Regum and his son own a flat bottomed fishing boat that also acts as the ferry across to Tas Bardon. The boat will take 6 people and gear without trouble, and they charge 5cp per person for the trip. They are generally a float, within sight of the village, setting and checking nets set in the area, but can be called back to do ferry duty. Asher's wife, Brunhild, will run up a small red and yellow flag to attract their attention, and they will row ashore to pick up passengers.
