Showers all day today- still it was warm. We woke this morning to a commotion, and when we investigated found the remains of a large cow on the outskirts of the village fields. There was little left and it almost seems that the creature had been eaten I one bite. There is talk of Dragons and things, and rumours of similar happenings, but I am not fully convinced.

As we considered this Flower and his officers from The Midnight Sky arrived. Apparently they had recently arrived and the fuss about the cow stopped any of us realising. So much for good defence.

I spent most of my day with the farmers again, but came back in time to find Kerim trading in the village. After out encounter with the dogheads I decided to buy a shield from him, I didn't haggle with him just gave him his price. I know you shouldn't do that, but I never was very good at negotiating prices down. I understand he managed to sell the armour he got from the dogheads to Flower, although I don't know if he got a good price or not.

Flower bought guy called Herloch with him, who wants to accompany us. He is a priest of Thor and wears heavy metal armour and carries a large mace. It will be nice to have some more protection around, but he does seem a fairly surly fellow.

Smilo got into trouble with one of the local girls today. Candi, or something like that, took him out into the fields for a spot of lunch and perhaps a bit more. When apparently they were caught by a couple of the local lads and chased back into the village. Quite shook Smilo up, it did.

After that it was suggested it might be a good idea if we moved on tomorrow. I can understand why, we get here and they lose a cow, then Smilo is caught Inflagrente Delecto, so to speak, with one of the locals.
